Passionate about animals since childhood, Diane Oppliger took over the Candy Dog salon in June 2020 to establish her own salon : O-POIL Grooming. With Cloé, Diane offers various care services for your pets : baths, shavings, hair removal, fur untangling, nail trimming...

We welcome cats and dogs by appointment, but we can also take in other pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.). Just contact us in advance.

 

Additionally, you can visit the store to buy shampoos, foams, and other items to pamper your pets.

DIANE OPPLIGER

My name is Diane Oppliger, founder and manager of O-Poil grooming salon and animal wellness center.

 

Passionate about animals, nature, and medicine since childhood, I naturally pursued a CFC as a veterinary assistant, obtained in 2018. Subsequently, I trained as a professional groomer, which surprisingly captivated me. This led me to open my own grooming salon, "O-Poil Grooming," in the Montchoisi neighborhood in June 2020.

 

Since 2021, I have also been teaching the "grooming and body care for pets" course for veterinary assistant apprentices at Panorama school. This allows me to share my knowledge and passion for a profession that should not be overlooked in their field.

 

I would be delighted to welcome you to our small team and offer our best care so that your daily companion comes out even more beautiful than they already are !

CLOÉ PASTEUR

Since childhood, I have always been surrounded by animals. Driven by a great passion for them, I wanted to make it my profession. Being creative, I turned to dog and cat grooming. Leaving my Rhône-Alpes region at 19 to train in my dream job at "L'Academy des chiens" in Nice.

 

After completing my training, I took the plunge and started my own business at 20, receiving my first clients at home. Subsequently, I worked at "Aux Amis D’andy" in Mours-Saint-Eusèbe to gain additional experience.

 

In 2023, Diane opened the doors of her salon "O-Poil" for me to work and test all my professional skills acquired since 2020. I am delighted to continue my adventure alongside Diane, who integrated me very well into the team, where I immediately felt comfortable. I look forward to welcoming you and your companions to the salon to pamper and enhance them.

My name is Ada, and I'm always accompanied by my faithful companion Jakob, an unrivalled dachshund.

 

My career has always been guided by my unconditional love for animals. I began by working in refuges, where I learned to understand and care for animals in all their specificities. Passionate about animals, I also took part in dog camps, an enriching experience that brought me even closer to the dog world.

 

After that, I explored the field of sales, but very quickly I felt the need to return to my true vocation: making animals beautiful on a daily basis. So I trained as a groomer, a profession that combines expertise, patience and kindness. After a period as a freelancer, I had the opportunity to become manager of a grooming salon, where I also ran a basic grooming course.

 

Today, I've found my place at O-Poil, where I can combine my expertise and my passion to offer animals the very best. I love everything about this job: the grooming, the animals, the moments of gentleness and the unique bond you create with them. I'm delighted every day to be able to practise this wonderful profession and to meet more and more companions to pamper.
