Veterinarian & acupuncture practitioner for small animals

I offer acupuncture services for your four-legged companions. Passionate and convinced by the benefits of this complementary medicine, I am committed to providing high-quality care with gentleness, respect, and the attentive listening each animal deserves.

I have always been deeply fascinated by alternative and integrative medicine. After earning my degree in veterinary medicine, I naturally turned to acupuncture—a practice that allows me to connect the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine with the advances of Western veterinary science.

This approach enables me to offer more holistic and respectful care, focusing on the animal’s overall well-being. Deeply convinced of its benefits, I place your companions’ health, balance, and comfort at the heart of my practice.

Acupuncture in a few words

Acupuncture is an ancient practice, over 3,000 years old, rooted in traditional Chinese medicine. It involves stimulating specific points on the body using fine needles. This method aims to restore the body’s energy balance, relieve pain, support natural bodily functions, and improve quality of life—both physically and emotionally.

These specific points are particularly rich in blood and lymphatic vessels, nerve endings, and immune cells involved in allergic reactions and inflammatory processes.

When an acupuncture needle is inserted, a mild local inflammatory response occurs. This promotes blood circulation, stimulates the immune response, and triggers the release of natural substances such as endorphins and cortisol. These substances help relax muscles and naturally relieve pain.

Why acupuncture?

Conventional treatments in traditional veterinary medicine do not always provide satisfactory results for certain conditions such as osteoarthritis or allergies. They may have side effects or offer limited effectiveness, raising questions about their relevance. Acupuncture offers a complementary approach by considering the animal as a whole: its body, personality, lifestyle, diet, and environment. This holistic method aims to stimulate the body’s natural ability to self-regulate. Used alone or in combination with conventional veterinary medicine, acupuncture has many indications and can offer real benefits in managing various disorders.
